6 Chinese Warships On Standby In The Middle East

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) reportedly deployed six warships in the Middle East this week, amidst the heated situation of the Palestine vs. Israel Hamas militia war.

The PLA's 44th naval escort task force is said to be in Oman, conducting joint exercises with the Omani Navy in routine operations involving the ships since May.

The six warships themselves consist of guided missile destroyers, integrated supply ships, and frigates.

A Chinese warship was detected at the same time as the recent delivery of a United States ship to the eastern Mediterranean.

The United States deployed two aircraft carriers to the eastern Mediterranean and the waters around Gaza, Palestine, to help Israel fight Hamas, the militia that rules Gaza.

"The president, as commander in chief, will do what he has to do to safeguard [the United States'] national security interests," said US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby last week.

The US move to send ships to help Israel itself was criticized by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to Erdogan, the US military presence in the conflict area will only give Israel the green light to carry out massacres in Gaza.

Since the Hamas vs. Israel war broke out on October 7, the US has expressed its full support for Israel and sent an aircraft carrier to help Tel Aviv fight the Palestinian militia.

Other countries, such as England, France, Germany, Australia, and Austria, also sent military support to Tel Aviv.
The Hamas-Palestine war is not only happening in these two regions.

This war also spread to Lebanon.

Israel heavily bombarded Lebanon in order to crush the Hezbollah militia, which was seen as helping Hamas attack Zionist.

Until now, war has continued to rage in these regions.

Israel is even preparing to launch a massive ground attack on the Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, China and Russia have expressed their support for Palestine.

China considers the root cause of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to be the neglect of the rights of Palestinians, especially their right to independence.

"The root cause of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is that the Palestinian people's right to statehood (independence) has been put aside for a long time.

China will continue to side with peace and support the struggle of the Palestinian people in safeguarding their national rights," said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi while hosting Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in Beijing on Sunday (15/10).
